Lynne is the Executive Director for the OpenFog Consortium. She was formerly Vice President of Internet Industrial Consortium, responsible for the development, marketing and day-to-day management of the IIC. Prior to joining OMG, Lynne was with IBM for 17 years. Most recently, she was Senior Marketing Manager with IBM Global Alliances, where she directed and developed programs to grow IBM’s business with its largest business partners including Oracle, Avaya, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Johnson Controls.
Lynne represented IBM on the Green Sigma Coalition and also ran the first Smarter Buildings track at the Chairman-led Smarter Cities Rio event. From 2006-2008, Lynne was the lead writer for the SOA WebSphere brand, where she launched and edited the award-winning IBM SOA Newsletter. Lynne was nominated to the IBM Leader Foundation Program in 2013.
Before being recruited to IBM in 1996, Lynne ran her own marketing consulting company for technology clients. She was previously Director of Marketing for MarketWare Corporation, a retail software company, and began her career with Regis McKenna Inc.
Lynne is CA-AM certified by the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Management from the University of Massachusetts. She is married with two children and is an active volunteer with youth organizations in her community.
